The emotional and physical traumas that you have experienced in your life and the day to day stresses of family, work, money and relationships can take a toll on your body, mind and spirit. These things can cause blockages in your energy or “chi”. When the normal flow of energy is blocked, this is when you experience “dis-ease”. In energy medicine, the practitioner uses gentle touch to help remove blockages to restore your body’s balance, promote healing, and help bring feelings of relaxation and peace.

Reiki Healing
The word Reiki comes from the Japanese word (Rei) which means “Universal Life” and (Ki) which means “Energy”. It is the life energy that flows through all living things. When this energy is free flowing one feels healthy and has a positive state of mind. When this energy becomes weak or blocked it might present itself as physical or emotional distress. During a Reiki session, the practitioner channels this energy through gentle touch. The client’s body takes in as much of this energy as it needs and delivers it to where it is needed most. Reiki can help ease tension and stress and facilitates healing on all levels – physical, mental, and emotional. Clients usually feel pleasant and relaxed after the session.
Aura-Soma
Aura-Soma is a non-intrusive natural healing method that works with the aura and energy centers, or “chakras”, and makes use of the vibrational powers of color, crystals, and natural aromas in order to harmonize body, mind, and spirit. It brings ease, balance and calm to the energetic system and enhances happiness and vitality. Aura-Soma was created in the 1980’s, in England, by Vicky Wall, a healer and herbalist who dedicated her life to spiritual research and the treatment of illnesses with plants. These essences are incorporated into sessions, as needed, to aid in the healing process.

Full Spectrum Healing
Full Spectrum Healings are healings that work with the aura and energy centers of our body. These energy centers are called “chakras”. When the energies of our chakras become imbalanced or blocked due to trauma, stress, depression, anger, etc., it can show up as physical, mental or emotional distress. Often pain or illness in a particular part of the body can be from an imbalance or blockage in its associated chakra. Practitioners that use Full Spectrum Healings are taught to use the colors, tones and frequency vibrations of each chakra to move energy through the body and release these blocks to clear, charge and bring the chakras back into balance. The goal of Full Spectrum Healing is not simply to relieve pain but to create harmony within the entire system for a more vibrant and joyful life. Each session is unique and determined by the client’s needs at the time of their session.
Biofield Tuning
Biofield Tuning is a type of sound therapy based on the premise that the human biofield – the energy field that surrounds and permeates our bodies – is intimately connected with our conscious and subconscious mind, including all our memories. All physical, mental and emotional disorders can be perceived as “dissonance” in our energy fields. Biofield Tuning can diminish and resolve this dissonance and in doing so, alleviate and even eradicate the corresponding physical, mental and/or emotional symptoms.
During a Biofield Tuning session, a client lies fully clothed on a treatment table while the practitioner activates a tuning fork and scans the body slowly beginning from a distance. The practitioner is feeling for resistance and turbulence in the client's energy field, as well as listening for a change in the overtones and undertones of the tuning fork. When the practitioner encounters a turbulent area, he/she continues to activate the tuning fork and hold it in that specific spot. Research suggests the body's organizational energy uses the steady coherent vibrational frequency of the tuning fork to "tune" itself. In short order, the dissonance resolves, and the sense of resistance gives way. This appears to correspond to the release of tension with the body.
Crystal Healing
Crystals vibrate at specific frequencies, and when they interact with the client’s individual energy field, or chakras, they can have a positive impact on ailments and imbalances in the body. In a crystal healing session, crystals are placed on the body and used in conjunction with a process of clearing, charging and balancing the chakras. After a session, clients have noticed an increased sense of well-being and lessening of physical distress.

Distance Healing
Energy work can also be done remotely. As with any session, it is done with the intention that the energy being sent is for the highest healing good and harm to none. Remote clients have reported similar reactions and results as in-person sessions (feeling sensations or energy flowing in their body, seeing colors and overall feelings of relaxation and well-being.)
Animal Healing
Did you know that healings can be done on animals as well? Animals are sentient beings and respond positively and openly to energy healings. The healings are usually done remotely to allow the animal to feel safe and relaxed in their own environment, with no distractions. This also allows the healer to assess the animal’s physical and emotional state without disturbing them. This form of healing is excellent for household pets as well as farm animals. Since the healing is remote, it can be especially good for a very timid, sensitive or aggressive animal.
